Bingo Cards And Butterflies

The last of my mammoth run of posts for today.  Shimelle has created a stunning scrapbook page using Jenni Bowlin supplies and thrown down the challenge to create a project using some aspect of the original for inspiration.  The page really caught my eye and so I have incorporated many aspects of it into my 6x4 album cover.

The stunning black and yellow colour scheme.
The bingo card and butterflies combination.
Big chipboard, polka dot butterfly.
Little punched butterflies.
And little labels to name a few.

I have used just the one, Wild Honey, Distress Ink pad for all of the effects.  Using an applicator to apply it to the card (then splattering with water, one of my favourite techniques), stamping the Accessorise background butterflies with it directly and mixing with Picket Fence Distress Stain to get a paler colour on the GCD Melody Ross chipboard butterfly.

Other supplies:
Paperchase 6x4 photo album
Artistic Stamper bingo card stamp
Lakeland random dots stamp
Die Cuts With A View letters and glitter cardstock
Prima say it in crystals
7Gypsies apothecary label

Other challenges:
Simon Says Stamp And Show - Bling
Craft Us Crazy #15 - Anything goes
The Stamp Man  - Anything goes with summer colours
